WHY OUR CHILDHOOD WAS AWESOME !

When we were small, our imaginations were HUGE  !

We all miss our childhood, those times though have passed, they have given us some really important life lessons. Maybe by being enough conscious, we can still figure out Why our childhood was awesome!

So, get ready cause that Nostalgia will hit you hard !!

1. Failure ? What is That ? 

Whoa ! Remember your failures !

The time you started learning to walk. 

The time you started learning to ride a bicycle. 

The time you started learning to speak !

Failure is part of learning ! This is what we believed all our childhood we just went out and expressed ourselves, anything that happened later we just didn't care ! 

Our childhood was awesome because we cared about PROCESS not PROGRESS.

2. Humanities and Literature was not INFERIOR to Science !

No matter what we say, We do consider Humanities and Literature inferior to subjects like Science and Maths ! I think that is exactly why today,

We are Best Engineers and Doctors, But We are not 'HUMANS' anymore. 

Our Childhood was Awesome because literature and maths were equally important and growing up you wanted to be a good human but we ended up becoming nothing more than 

DATA STORING MACHINES. 

Sad, but True !

3. Your Family was your World !

Recall a moment when we were really scared in your childhood, we used to run towards our elders in such moments.  Because we believed, they will understand our fear.

Back to present, In India alone, A student suicide is recorded every 90 minutes. Why ? Because students believe that no one will understand what they are feeling. This change is mindset has become lethal !

Our childhood was awesome because we had a source of hope from our elders. Today, that ray of hope is blocked by the clouds of fear. 

Believe in yourself, no problem is greater than you !!!

4. Our Imaginations were HUGE !

Imagination and Creativity walk hand in hand. We were just more curious about things. We were practically approaching every aspect of our life rather than mugging up theories. 

We had the freedom to explore and question. We ourselves have traded this freedom for the sake of being busy in people's eye.

Our childhood was awesome because we were happy ! At least in our Imaginations. 

5. Our Crying wasn't judged !!!

This one is pretty deep to understand and if you have got it, believe me you are Gem of a person. 

Tell me one thing,  When did you last Cried? A month ago? A year ago? 5 years ago?. Why ? Because we weren't judgmental as kids.  And we didn't care if someone judged us while crying. This tears were our medium to express ourselves.

We were strong enough to cry ! And this might hurt you but we have become weaker than ever. Money, Influence, Power it made us weaker. We are no more the child that use to say something stupid and laugh it out. We have stopped expressing ourselves ! 

Our childhood was awesome because we were not afraid to be judged. We stood for what we considered right and Accepted what was wrong. 

We were stronger back then !

You know one more thing about your childhood, you shared what interested you with your loved ones.  You know what I mean  !

Let's be kids again and the good old days will be back to us !
